Frederik Alexandru

Administrator & Trainee Paraplanner

Fred joined N2 Asset Management at the start of 2026 as an Administrator and Trainee Paraplanner. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he brings a highly analytical and methodical approach to his work. He enjoys identifying complex problems, finding practical solutions and delivering accurate results.

In his role, Fred supports the advisers and paraplanning team with client administration, research and report preparation while continuing to develop his technical knowledge of financial planning. He is committed to building his career within the profession and progressing towards professional qualifications.

Eugen Neagu

director, financial planner

Eugen has worked in financial services since 2009, starting as an IFA with a few national firms and a network. He then worked for a financial advisory company specialising in international financial advice in February 2012 as a Pension Transfer Specialist, and in 2016 he was promoted to Head of Financial Planning. During this period he became a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Financial Planner, a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. In 2019, together with Alex and Diane, he founded N2 Asset Management. He is also the firm's Compliance Officer.

A former Romanian Army rocket scientist specialising in ballistics, Eugen was drawn to financial planning by the similar challenge of targeting a retirement income while dealing with uncertainty.

A retirement thinker, author of guides, and researcher in investor behaviour, his focus is on lifestyle financial planning and client preferences.

Outside of work, Eugen enjoys reading up on investments, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Ross Jones

Paraplanner

Ross joined N2 Asset Management in July 2021 as a Paraplanner and has worked in the financial services industry for almost 10 years. In his role, he supports the firm's financial advisers by preparing detailed financial reports, conducting research and helping to deliver tailored financial planning solutions for clients. He takes pride in providing accurate, high-quality support that helps ensure clients receive the highest standard of service.

Outside of work, Ross enjoys football and a variety of other sports. He also enjoys spending quality time with his three young children, who keep him busy outside the office.

Wilson Mboya

Paraplanner

Wilson joined N2 Asset Management in 2022 and supports the team across investment research, financial planning and client reporting. His role includes analysing investment portfolios, preparing suitability reports, conducting pension and platform research, and helping to ensure clients receive clear, well-supported financial advice.

He holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Finance and Investment from Coventry University, along with the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and specialist qualifications in Discretionary Investment Management and Securities Advice and Dealing. Wilson is continuing his professional studies with the aim of achieving Chartered Financial Planner status.

Outside of work, Wilson enjoys travelling, keeping fit and following Arsenal.

Diane Barrett

Director

Diane began her financial career working for a firm of accountants in Surrey and was introduced into the world of investment in 2001 working for Ashmore Investment Management in London.

Diane continued her career by moving into the hedge fund industry, working for various boutique companies and progressing to Sloane Robinson, until she moved to an IFA firm specialising in pension advice and transfers progressing to Associate Director.

Alex Norwood

director, financial planner

Over the years, Alex has been recognised within the profession for his technical knowledge and client-focused approach, including being named among the UK’s top financial advisers under 35 earlier in his career. He has also regularly featured in financial publications and provided commentary on areas ranging from pensions and tax planning to complex cross-border financial issues.

Much of the firm’s work involves helping individuals and families with increasingly international financial lives, including overseas pensions, residency and tax considerations, and planning where assets, income, or future goals span multiple jurisdictions. Alex has also become a point of reference for other professionals — both within financial services and related industries — seeking guidance on technical and overseas planning matters.

The focus at N2 has remained the same throughout: understand the client’s life first, build the planning around it second, and only then decide which products or structures best support it.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, Georgia, and their son, Jenson, along with travelling, football, and the occasional attempt to switch off from the world of financial planning.
